Tsilivi beach, 500 metres far from the centre of Planos resort, is located 5 kilometres north of Zakynthos town, in a wonderful area full of vegetation. It is a large, sandy beach (1.5 kilometres long and 15 metres wide) that attracts a lot of people, especially in peak months, because of the great sea and the good organisation; that's why, it is, for years, marked with a Blue Flag.

We should mention that, for the local people, the whole area of Planos is also named Tsilivi, after the name of this beach; that's why you shouldn't wonder when you hear people refer to Planos resort naming it Tsilivi. In the area around the beach, there are a lot of hotels (of every class), along with furnished apartments, rooms and luxurious villas, that usually are available from April to October.

You can taste very good food at one the taverns on the beach or the inner side of Tsilivi, that offer a variety of zakynthian and international cuisine and, of course, a lot of fresh fish.

You (and your company) can enjoy your bathing, sun-bathing under the shining sun and the water sports, that offer a lot of excitement to young and adults. If you wish to visit another beach well-organised too and of equal beauty, you can still access them almost by foot. Generally, you can go to Tsilivi from the capital town, either by one of the frequent bus-lines, taxi and private or hired vehicle. You can also come by boat and anchor at one of the ports of Planos or Bouka.
