| Planos, one of the most beautiful tourist resorts, sites 5 kilometres north-west of Zakynthos town, in a picturesque area girded with a great olive-grove, very close to seaside. Its local inhabitants are about 1000. Two lesser, secure though to fishing boats and touristic vessels, ports are located in central Planos; one located in Bouka beach, the other at Gaidaros foreland. A large variety of hotels, furnished apartments, rooms, villas can be found in the extent of the resort. |  |
In Planos exists a very interesting Nautical Museum. Its founders are always willing to guide you through the museum rooms and give you the opportunity to enjoy a collection of aquarelles representing ships from ancient era uptill modern times, show you ship models, historical ship compasses, sailors uniforms and many more stuff of maritime life, along with a grand photo gallery theme of which is the sea and navy. |
 | In Planos there are a lot of places to dine. In every few steps you can find greek tavernas, restaurants, fast-food offering a grand variety of greek, european and international dishes. The food offered is of good quality, while you always can enjoy fresh fish. Further, your daily entertainment can be contented choosing among many bars and alternatives, such as paintball or small cars for your children. |
You can enjoy your bathing in the beautiful and secure beaches of Tsilivi, Bouka and Gaidaros and sunbath under the greek sun or feel the excitement of water sports in organised beaches of the wide area. |
Pharmacies and a medical center are located in the resort to serve you in any case and have in mind that the hospital of the island is no more than 5km from your accomodation.
Near your place you will have the chance to hire a vehicle (car, bicycle, moto) for your trips around the beautiful island of Zakynthos, discovering every enchanting place from one side of the island to the other. |  |
You can reach Planos resort either by road or by sea and, remember, the main port and the international airport of the island are just a few minutes far from your place in Planos! |
